I'm sorry to hear that. Personally I think I was suffering from CFS... I am on much of the same biomed as my kids and doing so much better.Extra B vitamins and magnesium, plus low (to medium) oxalate dietary intake has made a big difference here.

Dear listmates-I have not posted in some time buy I do follow most of the threads and respond as I can.I wanted to ask if anyone in the group has experience with RA or Fibromyalgia.This past week my hubby had sudden onset of muscle weakness and extreme difficulty using his hands without lots of pain.He says he has pain in the joints and muscles as if he has done an intense workout.He has seen the PCP and had testing for Lyme,ANA,etc done.My questions are: Has anyone had successful relief of this condition with biomedical treatment or chelation? I highly suspect that yeast overgrowth is a big cause but have also heard heavy metals can cause these conditions as well.Any other ideas as to possible causes? Its basically flu like symptoms without the fever or respiratory involvement.Thanks in advance for any

Melinda, We had something go through my house. Both my mother and my daughter (who lives on her own) had it as well.I posted yesterday that Tom had the most severe cold symptoms of his life. Before the onset of his cold symptoms, he was complaining that his neck hurt. Then a few days later, my daughter called to say she was sick and the back of her head hurt so badly it was blinding her. Same thing happened to my younger son. My mom and my husband both complained of extreme pain in their lower extremeties and their butt muscles and another friend of mine had flu symptoms and her arms were in so much pain that she commented one time she had to take a nap after 5 minutes of washing dishes. I think it's viral related or

Tammy- Thanks for your reply.I certainly hope your family members are feeling better.And as strange as it may sound,makes me feel better knowing that others have had similar symptoms.I never thought about the spraying as a cause.We do live in a heavy spray area.We just discussed that last night-if there might be somewhere we could move.Are there any places in this country that are not heavily sprayed? I have been seeing LOTS of cases of pneumonia come into the ER lately. Has he had any sort of upper back injury in the past? My BIL started to have

pain and lose use of one of his arms. He then started to have actual muscle

atrophy. It ended up that he had degenerative disks in his back and it was

causing nerve damage. He just had surgery and will be having PT to rebuild his

arm.

Cathy- Thats also something I had not thought about.He had some pain in his scapular area for awhile and finally started seeing a chiropractor for it.She said he was out of line and also a rib was out of place.Not sure how that happened unless he did it on the job.One day he was throwing up ladders and it seemed to bother him shortly after.We will definitely check into this as a possible source.THANK YOU for your response. Lyme. My best guess would be a trial of Zithrom ax or another good Lyme med to

see if his symptoms improve.

Lyme testing is unreliable. Dx is clinical.
