Silver Ridge or Fox Ridge??

Hello List Friends,

I am looking for some inside information from parents of

kids on the spectrum in the Davie/Broward area.

I am looking to buy a house and I have it narrowed down to two

choices. One of the homes is in the

Silver Ridge School area and the other is in the Fox Ridge school area. I know the Silver Ridge School has an Autism

program, but is it inclusive? Is it any

good? Thanks in advance for your time;

any comments/suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated.

Silver Ridge Elementary has a Cluster program (Complex and Place) for pre-school

students. Kindergaten and up, the cluster is IND ONLY. (Intellectual

Disabilities)

Its been a few years,but my son attended SilverRidge for preschool and had a

wonderful experience. They, quite simply, did everything right. I don't know

Fox Ridge, but if you meant Fox Trail, then stay away. Although they are a A

school for typical kids, they are an F for our kids. Their cluster is

reminiscent of 20 years ago when kids like ours were hidden away. It is a

terrible place.
