>>>>This place has a very large list of suppliers of pastured products:

*****thanks, i've got this one bookmarked, and in fact get much of my

supplies from local farms listed here.

>>>>>>>

They also sell sweetbreads (I don't know which kind) Hope that helps!

wow! this one sounds great! too bad they're on the other side of the

country, i think i'm not even in their regular shipping zones. i've emailed

them to find out. they probably have what i'm looking for.

>>>>>>>Just out of curiosity (I can never make a post without asking some

type of question) [1] why do you want rabbit?

****for my 'rabbit' sized dogs. hoping to feed whole carcases and hoping the

bones will make it through my grinder :)

>>>>>>>Aren't they low in

saturated fat or something like that?

*****no, although you might be lead to believe that from the guts and grease

article. in fact, although they are not primary prey of the grey wolf (dog's

ancestor) hare/rabbits are a common prey. i wouldn't feed them as the

primary food, though, but as a decent whole carcass and bone source.

[2] You sound like the type of

person who would know (or like to know) where to get cheap liver. How

much do you pay for your liver and where do you get it?

*****i currently get local organic beef and calves liver for $3 something

per lb. but someone on another list just posted this link:

http://www.brownsmeadowfarm.com/page4.html where they're selling pastured

beef liver for $1/lb. i'm looking into that one.
