Guest guest
Interesting article. I believe my VV is tied into my digestive system and with my hormones. I do have heavier periods now, bad cramps, but one of the other symptoms is weight loss. I am having the OPPOSITE PROBLEM! I have gained 15 lbs. and I have never had to diet or exercise to be thin in my life! BlueeberriVote for your city's best dining and nightlife. City's Best 2008. Guest guest
When my vulvodynia first started to manifest I had gained 15 pounds and for about a year and a half had been trying to lose it because I had never had a weight problem before. The weight gain started after a bout with Salmonella or something similar. Finally, 12 years later I lost the 15 pounds and now have no problem with weight gain. I lost it by not eating for at least four hours before bedtime. I have trouble sleeping on an empty stomach and had to take a lot of naps to catch up on the sleep that I lost at night. I followed that plan for about three weeks, lost the 15 pounds and no more weight problems and my gastrointestinal problems have alleviated tremendously. I take NAG (n-acetyl-glucosamine) for that and if I take it regularly my GI problem leaves me alone. I do not have the weight problem any more and can now eat something before bedtime without gaining weight. Ora >. I am having the OPPOSITE PROBLEM!
