Guest guest
Well, don't show your whole hand on first contact. I have found that if I wanted to let people know where I was coming from, I did refer to myself as " a sort of vitamin freak. " I find a little self-deprecating humor goes a long way, and a smile. :-) I would ask if the neuro thinks the EEG would be a good place to start, knowing it is but saying it with some humility. No one likes a " know it all " even though we do know a lot, ya know? :-)If *I* wanted blood work on MTHFR, I might say something like this: " We are having blood work done for our pediatrician soon and I was wondering if we couldget any tests you recommend done too at the same time so we don't have to do an extra stick?Don't neuros check for fragile X or something? And if you are ordering that, can you also check for MTHFR, which I was recently told runs in our family. " If you can get EEG, MTHFR and Fragile X tested from one contact with the Neuro, I would say thiswas well worth your time. :-) Even if it's just two of those, then cool. You might want to print out something about MTHFR that relates to neurology, specifically if you can find something on tics or tourettes and MTHFR or folic acid levels. This will help you, esp if the paper is in pubmed. Thanks i hear you just wondering if i am once again wasting time and money on someone who wont listenLet your email find you with BlackBerry® from Vodafone -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Click to find info about Vitamins and Minerals:http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=10150543521682565 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Click to find links to info about the Low Oxalate Diet :http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=10150543495292565 ------Toni------Mind like a steel trap...Rusty and illegal in 37 states.
