Guest guest
Hi,.I found this Dr. in a town that looks close to you, she was on a website for Best Dr.s in AZ. Juli N SAMPAT MD. Arizona (Winslow) Internal Medicine I know nothing about her, just that she was listed with many other Dr's all thru AZ. On the AZ map it looks like Winslow is just off HWY 40? An Internal Med. Dr. can actually do as much as all the Specialists can do, and if not then they send you to the appropriate specialists. I've always had IM's for my PCP. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts. :-) Glad you are feeling better. Hugs and Love, Jackie May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you. But I wanted to be here even though I knew physicians were fewer and further between. Don't worry about me. This was a better day for me even though I was really busy. I think I'm on the mend! Guest guest
Thanks Jackie. Winslow is quite a drive from me, unfortunately. There are doctors in the larger town about a hour away from me and some in my town (which is 30 minutes away:) Most of the good doctors around here are not taking new Medicare patients due to the reduced reimbursement rates. I am still looking for a doctor who takes my insurance and has a good reputation. Wish me luck! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
You know... come to think of it Sharon.. I might have only gotten in to my PCP because was already there.. even though I have a Primary Insurance that's backed by the Gateway Medicare Assured program.. he wasn't taking on any "new" patients.. but then I said something about and I usually try to use the same PCP and that way we can schedule appointments at the same time or fairly close so that we only have to make one trip.. And I know that when I saw the surgeon a few years back about that thing on my leg.. the gals in the office told me that Gateway Medicare Assured was extremely slow in paying and that Access never paid.. so whatever he got from my Primary Insurance for the outpatient surgery he did for me.. was all they were going to get... I was outraged.. really I was.. that's not fair.. this particular surgeon is one of the best if not THE best surgeon in the area.. and he can tell you 99.9% of the time whether what he's removed is cancerous or not.. and he doesn't bother to "wait for the results" when he knows that it is cancerous to bring you back in and remove the extra surrounding tissue that would be done "after" the results were in.. he just goes ahead and does it while he's in there.. saves himself some time, and the patient a whole lot of worry.. Well, I sure hope and pray that you are able to find a doctor soon who takes your insurance... HUGS |)onna Thanks Jackie. Winslow is quite a drive from me, unfortunately.
