Guest guest
I posted this question at the bottom of my last post, but wanted to bring it to the light in its own message: Ellie is still wracked with keratosis pilaris, any and all recommendations for this are welcome. I have read that it is related to a vit a deficiency (because of the measles virus eating up her A? Because of poor fat soluble vitamin absorption?), but just am back at the starting block on this one. Someone posted a good lotion- what was this? I want to of course wholly address the underlying issue, but would like to also bring the surface rash down a little if I can.
Guest guest
Are those the red bumps that appear up and down the child's arm? My son used to get that during the winter months. Our Doc had said it was a vitamin deficieny and to take cod liver oil supplements. It has gotten much better but the weather her is just starting to turn cold. My son is on 1000mg of cod liver oil ( carlosn) per day. I used to use eurcerin lotion or Aquaphor ( looks like vaseline). Aquaphor is stronger and clears up just about everything. Hope this helps... -Stacey >> I posted this question at the bottom of my last post, but wanted to bring it to the light in its own message:> > Ellie is still wracked with keratosis pilaris, any and all recommendations for this are welcome. Guest guest
Thanks Stacey and . We have cod liver oil on hand so I'll dispense that for now and look up mycelized. Ellie's had these bumps through the year since her last vaccine. > > > > I posted this question at the bottom of my last post, but wanted to bring it to the light in its own message: > > > > Ellie is still wracked with keratosis pilaris, any and all recommendations for this are welcome.
