No one (not even the youngest of investigators)spends as much time searching, reading and/or studying PSC. You & I'm sure Judy too, live & breath PSC, as many of us do. Anyone smart enough, who has the right tools, can learn to be a researcher, but it's going to take a person with real passion and the eye of the tiger, to find a cure - you have both of those in spades. I also disagree that any idea might be counterproductive. Necessity is the mother of all inventions - every treatment or cure came about because someone somewhere said " I wonder. " Has anyone stepped up to help you pay for your web sites? If not, please let us know so we can contribute to their upkeep. Keep up the good work, we do appreciate it, more than you know. Guest guest
Hi Barb; Thanks again for the kind words, and your concern about the funding of the web sites. As I mentioned yesterday, Ricky and I just applied for and received a $9,000 grant from Cordis Corporation to pay for the web sites for the next 3 years. So we are pretty well positioned for their upkeep for the foseeable future. I hope that Ken is showing signs of improvement after the CMV diagnosis amd treatment. Let me say that he's a pretty tough guy to have come through this ordeal ... and has has some really strong parents too! Best regards, Dave R. > Has anyone stepped up to help you pay for your web sites? If not, > please let us know so we can contribute to their upkeep.
