Guest guest
Hi Joyce, When I go to PT, she mainly does skin rolling on me – I have PN. Some women have internal work done which helps the pelvic floor. If your gyno wants to remove the Bartholin glands, that is usually for Vestibulitis. Do you have vestibulitis or vuldodynia? Removing the Bartholin glands does not help PN or sitting problems. Have you ever gone to the www.pudendal.info site? That is a very nice support site with very nice women who have PN. It would be a good place for you to ask that question, as there are a lot of women on there who go to PT. Have you gone to PT yet? If not, you have to make sure you go to one that works on the pelvic floor. Not all PT’s do that. nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of jteachit Sent: Saturday, June 14, 2008 11:34 AM To: VulvarDisorders Subject: PT Hi Ladies, Many of you have had PT for the PN problem/pelvic floor dx. My question is, what kind of exercieses are you given? Can some of them be done at home or will you need to have PT forever?? I have PN 'kinda.'I can sit, but have the other symptoms of PN. I go to my gyno July 1 and she always wants to do surgery to remove the bartholin glands.(SP??)What do you ladies think @ surgery? Would it help w/ PN? Thanks for your input:) Joyce
