Guest guest
Dear Barb; Thanks for your kind words. I know that you probably only meant this in jest, but I would like to point out for the record that I would be ineligible for the award for several reasons ... a) I'm not exactly a young investigator (|:-}); I don't actually do any real " research " on PSC ... I only read what other's have written and struggle to understand much of it too!; c) I won't be attending the AASLD meeting; and d) there would be a serious conflict of interest! My goal is only to try to get to the root causes of PSC as fast as possible so that better treatments can be developed, and a cure eventually found. I do worry that putting an idea out there that is not well supported could be counter-productive, and detract from other important lines of investigation by the real PSC researchers. But in general I am trying to think outside the box before I end up in the box ... Best regards, Dave R. > > ----- Original Message -----From: > IMHO next years $$$ award from PSC Partners to the best researcher > should go to ! > > Barb >
