Guest guest
Hi Arline..... This is part of the reason I'm really puzzled and at times, think it's systemic yeast rather than gluten sensitivity. I react to potatoes, to white rice (the worst, I completely swell up inside!), to popcorn (no corn mean muffins for me!)......absolutely anything that breaks down to sugar quickly. J. Potatoes won't hurt. Surgar free muffins won't hurt ifyou don't make them with the gluten flours. Try cornmeal muffins. You can buy gluten free mixes.Gas prices getting you down? Guest guest
Hi J., It sounds like you have a carbohydrate intolerance condition (often caused by gluten sensitivity destroying the enzyme producing villi in the small intestine). You might want to read some things about taking enzymes and Kirkman Labs has a good website that explains the whole thing. What that means is you can take tablets (enzymes) for carbs, (and fat, and sugars, and protein, etc.) when you eat them and you will be able to digest those foods with no trouble or side effects. They would likely help you a lot. http://www.kirkmanlabs.com/articles/feature.html I believe that a yeast problem is never a primary disease but the result of an underlying probably autoimmune disease. Likely one cannot solve the yeast problem until the underlying disease is identified. The following is a google page which has lots of sites that talk about carb intolerances if interested. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=carbo\ hydrate+intolerance&spell=1 Arline --- JSyun4505@... wrote: > Hi Arline..... > > This is part of the reason I'm really puzzled and at > times, think it's > systemic yeast rather than gluten sensitivity.
