Guest guest
Pancretitis can come from gallstones, dehydration, ETOH abuse etc and can come on quickly. Guest guest
I would think cholangitis would be more likely, especially if you have URQ pain. My pancreatitis episodes did not result in back pain, " jut " excruciating upper LEFT quadrant pain. Guest guest
I had pancretitis about 3 months after my gall bladder surgery. apparently what happen was the stones from my gall bladder went into my pancrese and blocked the flow. I went to the hospital twice... spent 3 days each time on clear liquid diet. My enzymes were in the thousands... I think 8,000 or so... it was good on liquid diet but after that it got bad. So my doctor sent me to a specialist and he did a procedure where he went in and cleaned the all the "tubes" and put a plastic tub in there for about 2 weeks. It felt strange for two weeks. I couldn't feel it but I know there was something there... more of a pressure. Anyway my doctor went in and took it out two weeks later and I have been fine since.... Someone mentioned that possibility of gall stones, i would check that out. The pain is REAL bad. Shirin, Arman, Niki & Mateen Hamraeiarman_shirin@...
