He's over-the-moon excited. As many of you know, I get my kids pre-assembled. <g> I picked up baby Selena from a post-hospital transitional-care facility one week ago. She's 7-months old, but more like 3-months in size and development. She has some of the issues Quantell did as an infant, but also has a whole new assortment that I'm trying to get up to speed on. Guest guest
Pam, I'm so happy for you & Q! He'll make a wonderful big brother and will be such a great helper to both you and the baby. I can almost hear him now telling the doctors & nurses what to do, " use a smaller needle " , " don't poke her so hard " , " it's OK Selena, it won't hurt too much, I'll hold your hand " . Before long, she'll recognize his voice and it will help to soothe her. Selena is one lucky baby to have a mom as great as you are and a brother who will love and care for her so much.
