Has anyone been successful using supplements to lessen or get rid of a

facial/neck tic. I am wondering if there is a lack of something the brain is not

receiving. The tic changes every so often to something else and of course

depends on changes and anxiety but the supplement piece has me puzzled. Please

share.

There is a good forum online dedicated to this – “ACN forumsâ€, google it, choose the Tourettes forum. My son has tics. That forum and the internet has lots of info on different vits and supplements that may help. There are regimens some parents on there swear by. The theory is that not only is there things the brain is missing (nutrients etc), but that there are environmental triggers for tics as well, such as detergents, allergies, foods, etc.

Essential Fatty Acids are the best for tics...Krill Oil is your best bet...has everything in it in.

Neurofeedback is excellent for tics. It also helps with anxiety, OCD and sensory issues. Find someone in your area who does it. It needs to be LENS, a low frequency neurofeedback. I am in San Diego, CA and currently my son is doing this therapy and it has helped him tremendously.
