The drug store didn't deliver Ken's drugs yesterday, so I may have to fight for a little more time to see if it works. They started Ken on 200mg 3x a day. I was wondering if that was the correct dose. I sure hope it doesn't cause Ken any abdominal pain. That pain is the reason he is refusing to take the lactose. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I understand why the docs want him to take the lactose, and I know why Ken doesn't want to take it. We (TJ & I) had a talk with Ken yesterday, told him there is no way we are going to allow him to go into another coma - been there, done that, not going to happen ever again! So he is prepared to take the stuff, but I'm hoping for his sake he doesn't have to. Enough is enough. Thanks Carolyn, you've given me the hope I was looking for, Barb in Texas
