Guest guest
Rita, I am down in Portland, but getting ready to see Klinghardt. What is payassured, and can an Oregonian join the WA group? Thanks,
Guest guest
, Of course you can join, come on in! It'll just be harder to meet up w/you at the park...e-mail & phone always works though...we'll make it work, we always do...e-mail me off-list & I'll give you my phone #. For payassured, you need a physician that's been approved (I know Dr Amy is...our group helped her with it) & an insurance company that does it...last I checked both premera & regence had it...you'll just have to do some checking). Here's the GREAT part...as long as these 2 things are approved, the labs you run are a flat fee...then the lab bills the insurance & if the company does not pay you are not responsible for what they don't pay (we ran multiple labs w/out initial co-pays running about $1,000....ours Did Not pay...some excuse like the contract for it was not local approved....we were not responsible for what they did not pay....it would have been over $6,000). Best thing that happened to us for labs was the PayAssure program....look into it. I'd check w/the lab to see if they have the payassure program w/your insurance, if they do see if the doc has it....if not, you may want to check w/a local doc you can trust that may let you order what you need & bring the new labs w/you...let us know if you need help w/this.
