Guest guest Posted June 28, 2008 Report Share Posted June 28, 2008 Lichen sclerosis and lichen planus are related skin conditions. Lichen planus is more rare and more difficult to treat. Lichen sclerosis only affects the vulvar/anal areas and doesn't go into the vagina like LP, so with LS you typically don't need suppositories.
