Guest guest
Pam, Here is a website: http://www.vaginismus.com that should be able to answer some questions for you. I don't know a lot about the condition, but I do know that the muscles around the vaginal entrance can spasm so badly that they tighten up and become like a brick wall with sex. Have you sought any type of treatment for it? Some women use dilators -- and PT would probably help a lot. Where do you live? Maybe someone will know of a good updated PT in your area.If I come across any info I'll send it in to the group! Do you know what happens to cause that? Thanks
Guest guest
Hi Chelle: I live in land and I've never heard of PT for that area of the body. If you hear of any place please let me know. I live on the eastern shore or Md and lower Delaware. Guest guest
Hi Tina: That would be good sometime. I live close to Salisbury glad to know someone close has the same problems. I thought for awhile I was the only weird one with such a problem. When things slow down from summer maybe we can get together. Guest guest
Oh, good Pam. I'm so glad you are able and willing to meet in person. I've been hoping to find someone close for sometime to conect with on a personel level. Not that I don't like the group, it's a great support, but seeing someone is a different story. Let's keep in touch and get together. Let me know when a good time is for you. Tina. RE: RE: Pam -- Vaginismus Hi Chelle: I live in land and I've never heard of PT for that area of the body. Guest guest
Hi Ya'll, i'm self diagnosed Vaginismus and live in NVa (Manassas area). There is a great PT in Richmond VA. Her name is Cora Huitt and she practices at Women's Health Physical Therapy. http://www.obgyn-physicaltherapy.com/ It's like going to a spa - they treat you like royalty. She takes insurance. She and her assistants gave me a lot of exercises to work on and taught me about the muscles down there, and how to manipulate them. Let me know if you have any further questions! shannon pletchsr@...
