Guest guest
Oy, like we need more guilt. So my boy with autism had both breast milk and a bottle. My typical boy only had a bottle. go figure. Guest guest
....and my son never had a bottle. Refused to take the bottle, from anyone. Went from breast to cup. And still has autism. Guest guest
Is it just me, or does it seem like they really have no idea what causes autism. It seems like every week, there's these type of articles which gets us thinking and perhaps feeling guilty (like we really need it). Since my child's diagnosis at 2, I was told it was probably partly genetic and partly environmental with no clear cut answers. It's now been almost 10 years, and I don't see where they are that much closer to finding out the real cause. Am I missing something? She cried and cried and got extremely angry for a few days and then we accomplished it, she left the breast to just use bottles. A month later, my wife started noticing she stopped saying words and imitating, and you know the rest. Guest guest
I breast fed my son with Autism until he was a year old and then he went straight to table food. Although I am an advocate for breast feeding, I do not think bottle feeding will cause Autism (although the plastic bottles have shown to release toxic chemicals when heated, thus contaminating the milk.) NO MORE GUILT!!!!
