Hi JackieI looked through your pictures yesterday. Adorable! Thanks for posting them. Did you know that a lot of children who bypass walking are hyperactive/adhd? That's what happened with my 16 year old grandson. He walked before he crawled and was very, very hyper by age 3. was on meds when he was 3 because he was so hyper his language skills weren't progressing. The meds helped and a special preschool for kids with problems, as well. He was off meds by age 6 and is doing fine. He's very smart, has been reading at a college level since he was 10. I do hope Christian doesn't have ADHD, like . But it sounds like Tina will cope well if that happens. She sounds like a good mom!big

Hi Sharon,..Thats too bad your son doesn't have health insurance. :-(

Christian is doing just fine. He never did crawl, just went from sitting to walking, and now he runs and climbs on everything. Doesn't want to play with normal toys as I have a full tote filled with building blocks, cars, etc, but he'd rather be in my cupboards taking all the canned goods out and bringing them to me. Typical....lol... Tina said she has found him in her cupboards, and yesterday he had climbed up on top of the washing machine and trying to climb in the cupboard above it. I told her he's the type of child that she can not take her eyes off for a second. I think she's starting to realize that now. Geeesh, whatever happened to playpens? He also has quite a temper and wants what he wants when he wants it. He growls if he doesn't get it, and then promptly throws a temper tantrum. Tina is a really laid back momma and takes everything in stride, but I am worn out by the time they leave. But just so you don't get the idea that

he's a total terror, he's also the most loving, and cute baby that charms himself into your heart just by flashing you one of his big smiles. He laughs just as easy as he growls, so I guess it all evens out. :-)

I added pictures to my album at the group home that I updated.

Hugs and Love, Jackie

May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you.

Hi JackieMy son and his family don't have insurance. They can't afford it and they don't qualify for medicaid. I just won't be able to get the really good insurance through my 'employer' ever again. I can get a medicare supplement type insurance s I will be fine. I'm sorry to hear Tina can't get insurance. How is Christian doing? You haven't sent me any pics of him for awhile!hugs

So that's why the dr was a bit worried when Jana started walking at 9 months which he thought was too early. And she never crawled. He said that some shrinks would even have her 'regress' and stop walking til after she learned to crawl. No sign of ADHD ever with her but I had my suspicions with the 3rd ... hugs, Cait
