Guest guest
I am looking into talking our neurologist into prescribing a trial of Namenda for verbal apraxia. We have tried every supplement/ac chelation/nids/diets/HBOT and so on and besides the RX Bethanochol and Paxil nothing has improved it. We are currently doing a trial of Donepezil HCL and getting some good recall and memory improvements and a shift in speech. Our neurologist was more comfortable with this as he had used it before. I do know of someone who got great results with Namenda with their son. From googling I know it does not work on some but we are beginning to think our child will need a serotonin and 5HTP protocol to help as well. Has anyone had experience in this area for movement and speech disorders?
Guest guest
We tried it a couple of years ago. We initially saw a nice, calming effect but it did not last 2 weeks. No other changes noted. We eventually dropped it. Still Nonverbal here. Guest guest
We had great speech results but he was unable to sleep while on it. Never had sleep issues before. Waited it out for a month but his sleep issue was getting worse.Sent from my iPhone I am looking into talking our neurologist into prescribing a trial of Namenda for verbal apraxia.
