Guest guest
Hi channa My near five yr old constantly has her hands in her mouth (major hygiene problem) and grinds her teeth. Yes, he is extremely thirsty especially after starting vancomycin. I remember you telling me to maintain a diary and guess what? I realized that whatever good I had seen with curcumin, it was from Longvida by nutrivene. Then I switched to Enhansa as it is covered by insurance. His first episode of chest pain started 2 days after starting enhansa. If you remember he was having extreme fear and increased sensitivity to touch. All of that started at the same time. I was suspicious but continued it and was wondering why I didn't see the same good results that I first saw with Nutrivene. I found out on another forum that Pipperine has been used in enhansa to increase absorption and that causes a lot of sensory issues, tantrums, gut pain etc. Longvida has lecithin to increase absorption and that works better on brain also. I am really inclined towards restarting Longvida. He is definitely having a lot of die off as activated charcoal helps a> bit. He is not complaining of belly pain any more but is having tantrums especially if we change his routine a little bit or if he has to wait for anything. He is just hungry for anything but of course he loves carbs and meat. His symptoms are alternating between being silly, laughing hysterically, climbing furniture to bad tantrums and aggression. So far today he has not pulled away his shirt from his chest which makes me even more sure about enhansa being the culprit in increasing sensitivity. He has 1 more week of vancomycin and then he has a break of 7 days. I will get candidase. My son uses Trienza by houston enzymes which contains nophenol. On monday I will call the company and ask if he needs no phenol separately. I give him one capsule of trienza with meals but should I try using it away from meals also as I read that when the die off is happening, protease enzymes help eat away the bacterial debris. Any suggestions?> Thanks > is>
Guest guest
mom 2c here.... grinding teeth I'd look into parasites (whether they lab test or not...multiple lab tests have been clean but it shows up ART muscle testing + Zyto testing + clinical symptoms). I've used mainly naturals over the years...what I care about is treatment has brought gains ) mouthing & extra saliva I'd look into mercury.... weird air swallowing action...possible OCD could possibly go into a bacterial/possible strep catagory.... you'd have to investigate further on these.... Guest guest
It sounds like it could be air hunger. It can be caused by a number of things- including stress, pain, Babesia, and hypothyroidism. There's probably more - but those are the ones I know off hand.-Tammy To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex > Sent: Saturday, December 17, 2011 7:02 PM Subject: Re: Teeth grinding and saliva hands in mouth chewing can be from food allergy, mineral defieciency, metal toxicity....teeth grinding...can be parasites bacteria...issues....wierd air swallowing not sure? anxiety...body needing more oxygen.... maybe other moms can have better ideas... Guest guest
You are describing my 4 yr old exactly. He puts his hands far back like he is digging after something, grinds teeth, swallows hard, breathes weird at times, his belly is always distended, I think from swallowing so much air. What diet is your child on? What supplements? You are the first person to ever state the same stims.
