Guest guest
I didn't want > to go out the last few months because I almost was looking greenish. , I think this line is interesting. I have always wondered why Noah carries around this green tinge... and I didn't know if it was bilirubin, or bile or what?! I still don't. But he never gets that yellow, orange color, but is like an olive green. He is not listed or anything yet. No liver imaging since May '05. I'll be curious to see how he progresses. So glad everything has turned out well A question: Were you upset when strangers approached you to ask if you had a liver problem? There was one occasion I was in the same cafe as a young lady with quite a yellow 'glow' She was with a group of friends and I had no intention of barging in and asking if she had a liver disease, but have since wondered if she was on her own, or with one other person I should have gone over and asked about her health, as she may have had PSC? Your comments would be appreciated. from the bottom of the world in New Zealand
Guest guest
Absolutely, the times it happened I would be working and it would come out the blue. In one of the last few weeks at my part time job I was helping this teenage kid with fitting some equipment and I asked the father a question and he kind of stared at me. Then he said " Hey you look yellow, Do you have something wrong with your liver? " . I said yes and finished helping his son. I felt like saying it was none of his business. Its one thing if someone showed concern and asked if you were feeling alright or a friend asking you. But someone you don't know and acts like a jerk. I wouldn't walk up to someone who had no hair and didn't look well and ask if they had Cancer. I felt bad enough about how I looked and felt. I didn't need somebody I didn't even know remind me that I was sick. I certainly didn't keep it a secret, but I didn't tell everyone either. Dziemian in Worcester,MA PSC 92, UC 93, TX 07 > > > > .
