Guest guest
Yes, it’s me again. I was diagnosed with PSC in March, 2002, 9 months before I got married (some wedding gift huh?). I joined the Yahoo Groups list serve for PSC but I needed more. I appreciated the stories but being a competitive athlete my whole life I wanted to think BIG. I wanted a cure! Discovering PSC Partners Seeking a Cure in 2005 and attending their first conference in Denver, I could feel the excitement in the room. After the initial shock of meeting many others with PSC just like me, I realized that with our collectivized, focused enthusiasm maybe we could find a cure. Or at least provide support and education for others…knowing that researchers are working on a cure and better treatment options for the symptoms. It’s been 2.5 years now and Ricky Safer, , Lee Bria and countless others have helped us get to this point. Now we’re asking you for some help…just your expertise and time. If you feel you could contribute to any of the below listed committees, please let me know: Database Committee IT Committee Media/PR Committee Legislative Committee Organ Donation Committee Corporate Fundraising Committee Newsletter Committee OR if you have some extra time (who does anymore?), there are some small tasks that we could really use some help on. Guest guest
Hi Dike, What happened to the group that signed up for various commitees at the last PSC Conference? I thought I had signed up for Legislative committee although I'm not sure what that involves or that I have the skill required. I am available to help in any way I can and small tasks are fine. I can be reached at ctpsc@.... Looking forward to hearing from you to see what can be worked out. Regards, Reggie Belmont Dike Ajiri wrote: Yes, it’s me again. Guest guest
Sikeea,Thanks for offering to help volunteer for Organ donation and the Newsletter committee. We've received a few offers of volunteer support and EACH one is appreciated. We're going to wait a few days to see the collective volunteers that we have (skills and time availability) and then go from there. Thanks,Dike Ajiri (pronouned DK Ajury)psc 2002PSC Partners Board Member Take the Internet to Go: Yahoo!Go puts the Internet in your pocket: mail, news, photos more.
