Akiba, I sure wished you lived closer. I've got so many plates, pots, glasses, etc. that I'm getting rid of. Wow, I'm surprised the old melmac were square ... that I don't remember. I bought a set of square white tableware and I love it. On the other hand my daughter has expensive square glasses that I'm not too fond of. Yep Jackie, otherwise it spills all over your face! I'm just not used to having to think about what part of the glass to put my mouth to! They're her "good set" and were ridiculously expensive. I think because they're squared. Her mother-in-law and I bought sets in various sizes for her shower even though neither of us liked them ... hugs, Cait
