Guest guest
Hi all, I looked up Helicobacter pylori and was surprised at what I found. H. pylori was discovered in my stomach when I had the endoscopy last week. I'm on the triple dose of drugs to clear it. When I looked at the list of symptoms, I had all of them, including bloating, lack of appetite, nausea, weight lose. Here's some more information on it: http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/hpylori/ The doctor was very clear that this had to be treated. H. pylori can cause ulcers (the usual cause of stomach ulcers) and stomach cancer. Here's more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helicobacter_pylori I started the antibiotics on Friday night. Yesterday I was pretty much knocked out, but I have more strength today. I had NO nausea today! And my appetite is coming back. Now I have to watch the weight gain :-( But it's a huge relief not to have the nausea. Hopefully it stays away. Now I just need to work on the fatigue. -Marie _________________________________________________________________ Get a FREE small business Web site and more from Microsoft® Office Live! http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/aub0930003811mrt/direct/01/
