Guest guest
Hi Sharon, thanks for looking at my g-kids. :-) As far as Christian goes, I have often wondered if he had hyperactivity too, mainly because the baby never sleeps for very long. Did have eratic sleeping patterns too? Ever since Christian was a tiny baby he was never put on a schedule, and they never let him cry himself to sleep so we thought he was taught to sleep whenever, but he will not take a nap unless they are driving in the car, and only while the car is moving. Then he won't take a nap for the rest of the day, and ends up staying up really late at night. The next day or even that same day he gets pretty cranky and you know he needs to sleep, but he fights it. He's a very bright boy, and is ahead of his age group in many areas. He wants to do everything himself, including feed himself since 9 mo's. Very independent. But scary in some respects too because he doesn't seem to respond to discipline, and will continue to do the same behaviors he got in trouble for again. I don't know how to present the idea of hyperactivity to Tina, but her husband has it, and I don't know how many mental illnesses are passed down? He also has the ADD to go with it among a few other dysfunctions. Hugs and Love, Jackie May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you. They can't afford it and they don't qualify for medicaid. I just won't be able to get the really good insurance through my 'employer' ever again. I can get a medicare supplement type insurance s I will be fine. I'm sorry to hear Tina can't get insurance. How is Christian doing? You haven't sent me any pics of him for awhile!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
I was afraid I had offended you by mentioning hyperactivity, so I'm glad to find out you had already thought of it. The grandson with ADHD is (turned 16 today). is 23 now. Can you believe it? is the one who had the brain tumors--I know you remember. There are good things about being a laid back parent but is also a need for some sort of structure. Especially with kids who are ADHD. That's my opinion:) Before was dxed with ADHD we knew something was wrong. One thing he did was run in circles. Most kids with ADHD are very intelligent. I remember when he was a baby my son would sit with him way into the middle of the night, swinging him to calm him to put him to sleep. probably only slept 5 hours at night and rarely slept more than a hour during the day. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
