Guest guest Posted December 20, 2011 Report Share Posted December 20, 2011 so made this black eye pea soup...was a hit and my son did like it. soak black eye peas overnight with some ACV then put in pot with onions and red skin potatoes chopped.. big piece of ginger for flavor...mollasses T. 2T of chilli powder..big piece of kelp or wakame....big jar of organic tomato sauce..everything should be organic..sea salt as needed cooked on lowest boil for 12 hours..dat how you do cooking old school:) i would have added celery if i had some..or can substitute turnip or squash for potatoe if oxylates is an issue...i think turnip is lower oxylate then potatoe... xmas vacation is in two days...I am using this time to really work on his diet channa Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
