Guest guest
Reb, you have an astonishingly accurate memory. I think it is justthe layers of skin that are proving a bit resistant, but it will all be alright. My X-Rays of all my replaced joints were just fine; back a bit sore, butthat, too will heal. Thank you for your concern, Reb. . . now if only I had some Lingonberry jam to eat--our long-gone co-operative grocery store always had Lingonberryeverything!nFrom: Reb D To: MSersLife Sent: Sun, October 3, 2010 3:52:55 AMSubject: Re: n--what's new?/ reply to Sharon's post and questions. . . . Sorry to hear about your knees. Always troublesome when something doesn't seem to heal. Is it the wounds (scraped skin) that doesn't heal, or is it something more to do with the joint itself? I know you have had some problem with arthritis (or am I wrong?). Some times "bad" joints are slower to heal. I have that problem with my joints. An elbow I injured falling in a stairway some two years ago still hurts now and then, for instance (and it was no serious injury, an inflammation in the joint capsule, nothing broken). It's like you can't "afford" an injury in those joints affected by arthritis and the likes. I seem to remember that you have diabetes too, or am I wrong about that? That may affect the healing of a wound quite a lot, but I am sure you already know that.In any case, I hope your knees will heal up real fast! If it's a wound that won't heal, please have it checked on, and make sure you get antibiotics or whatever else you may need. love/Reb>> My new neurologist will have new MRIs done of my back and head Wednesday> again to see what else I might have damaged; I am concerned as my knees> do not seem to be healing, but that may merely be a matter of antibiotics, so I> am phoning my internist on Monday.
