Guest guest
Today is "Cinnamon Roll Day" in Sweden. Don't know who invented a special day for it, but they are very popular in Sweden. In any case, I decided to surprise with a batch of homemade cinnamon rolls for dessert. I have not baked buns or rolls since I was 7 and we did it in school. Turns out it was a lot easier than I remembered it, maybe my kitchen skills have improved in the last 30 years... OK, I did forget about the egg that was supposed to go on them as a sort of glaze (the recipe did mention that, but I guess I didn't read it properly...). But they came out ok without that glaze. As long as they are covered in sugar, who cares about the egg... And the tomato sauce I made for dinner turned out exceptionally good too (if I may say so myself). Maybe gravity wasn't my friend today (it's been one of those drop things and knock things over days, my balance issues does act up from time to time, I suppose I was tired or something), but the kitchen god sure joined my team! ; )love/Reb

Guest guest
Sure! We have bags of cinnamon rolls all over the kitchen counter. And then I only made half a "normal" batch. Wonder why the recipes assume you are baking for a whole nursery or something... Well, in the freeze they'll go. Unless you get here first of course...love/Reb>> can I come over?> > > > A little bragging...> > > Today is "Cinnamon Roll Day" in Sweden.
