Guest guest Posted October 7, 2010 Report Share Posted October 7, 2010 until the lake house furned a few years ago my MIL and would always go down for at least a week around Labor Day - the local bass tournament was on - one year they had to get a freezer for the bass filets and they still brought 2 - 3 ice chests home after the subdivision fish fry - when the fish run or the garden is bountiful - freeze or can my ex had a knack of going to summer camp when the garden was coming in - both kids were in Oklahoma - one year the green beans came in - I was working 3 - 11 pm full time - when tomatoes came in I started caning when I let the dogs out at 5 -6 am and went until I left at 2:30 pm - I came home for supper and changed out - and when I got home at 11 pm I quit for the night the year the green beans came in I called Mom and said Help and take what you want God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
