I am really getting worried about my so-called roomie. First, she has not contributed a dime, says she only has about $60 left, she said that a few days ago, since then she has spent a bunch of $ on gas to go all the way to Gainesville to the vet for her cat, and is going again tomorrow, then she goes out and spends $5 on key lime pie, and today got a dozen organic brown eggs. And a bunch of other stuff she squirrelled away in her room. Not that I mind that, but if this is the stuff I SEE, what is it that I *don't* see?

If *I* had that little left for the whole MONTH, and could not even add to the household finances, I sure as hell would not be spending what little I had on expensive eggs (what is wrong with the cheapo white eggs, if you are that broke? Hell, in that case I'd say an egg is an egg!) and $5 for 1/2 of a key lime pie? How is THAT a necessity? Then she tells me Robbin and I are welcome to have some...great...I'd rather have the MONEY, thank you...I can't meet this month's bills as it is and all she is doing is adding to them, and this frivolously spending what little she DOES have, is just pissing me off!

I don't know what to do, for right now I am going to have to eBay off some more things just to meet the bills. My sister left a fendi wallet I can auction, and possibly get enough to cover the gaps, and there is a dooney and bourke (or something like that) purse I can probably get at least $75 for. I am not "into" designer so it is no skin off my nose to sell them. I also found an 18 kt gold box-link chain, it is thin and only about 17" but I can probably get at least $50 for it.

Did the roomie take you to your sister's house to get stuff yet? I hope you can put up with her until she does that for you. Wow, Akiba,I am so sorry to read all this. I hope Kate isn't a deadbeat, which she is sounding like, unfortunately. She obviously doesn't have her priorities straight at all. She is looking for a job, yes. But still spending $$ like she has it. Today we went to the store, she filled her gas tank on the way and, there were several empty fast food items in her car, she stopped and bought us a small frosty on the way home, and she got an envelope to mail her resume in via overnight mail to be sent tomorrow (the resume must be in by Fri, she has known this for DAYS, and she waits till the Very Last Minute??? And so she will have to pay, what is it, $11-12 to get it there?????)

She is supposed to get a big check at the end of the month, meantime, she has a Dooney and Bourke purse she is going to give me to auction on eBay and I can keep whatever I get for it, I also have one from my sister that I will auction, as well as a fendi wallet, very nice, but I see them go on eBay for about $300 and I could use the $$ a helluva lot better then the wallet!!! She WILL be paying me from her big check. OR moving. Her choice.
