Hey Jan,I haven't had trouble with itching either. My main vulvar pain complaint was rawness and irritation -- and YES an antihistamine can help with that. It sure did for me. Antihistamines are really good with relieving pain due to Mast Cell production (which happens in the inflammation process). Antihistamines can help with more than just basic allergies. Mast cell production occurs in many conditions. Migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, IC, etc. Hang in there, Janice....Chelle

I'm new to this board. May I ask which antihistamines help with IC and

vulvadynia? Would

Benadryl help?
