:) I know we all have burdens on here. Though a good support system can overcome anything. The fact is the demand to have communities for our kids is and will be in such high demand. Since the numbers keep rising and our kids were diagnosed with Autism with such statistics as 1 out of 1,500 which now are currently becoming teens. Soon they will be young adults in 10 years or less. Where will they all go during the day? No more school system. They have Autism and are nothing like our baby boomers living in Independent Living Facilities. Our kids will need different types of communities to meet their needs. Its so sad how I use my respite hours just to spend time with my other kids which I feel I neglect, Something has to change because what is now out there doesn't help any one. Not the child, not the family, the extended family, or the community. aka Enzos mom
