Hi Kathy,I think it just depends on 'what' is the culprit behind your vulvar pain. I'd say 'some' women who have hormonal problems do indeed respond to something like Estring, while others probably won't if there is not a hormonal component. My vulvar pain has responded to topical Estrace cream and PT. -- Though I still have some issues I'm working on!
