Guest guest
Each CARNITOR® (levocarnitine) Tablet contains 330 mg of levocarnitine and the inactive ingredients magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and povidone. Each 118 mL container of CARNITOR® (levocarnitine) Oral Solution contains 1 g of levocarnitine/10 mL. Also contains: Artificial Cherry Flavor, D,L,-Malic Acid, Purified Water, Sucrose Syrup. Methylparaben NF and Propylparaben NF are added as preservatives. The pH is approximately 5. Each 118 mL container of CARNITOR® SF (levocarnitine) Sugar-Free Oral Solution contains 1 g of levocarnitine/10 mL. Also contains: Natural Cherry Flavor, D,L,-Malic Acid, Purified Water, Sodium Saccharin USP. Methylparaben NF and Propylparaben NF are added as preservatives. The pH is approximately 5. I think the RX has some bad stuff in it, I forget which. I guess I could look it up... I think it's PEG. That almost makes me think that the problem isn't with carnitine itself but with one of the inactive ingredients in Carnitor? Aw, that's a bummer! > Yes with no problems thing is my gut tells me can help him but omg cant risk > it . > Let your email find you with BlackBerry® from Vodafone > > Re: More blitherings about carnitine and the > mechanism > of how viruses may affect apraxia > > Oh no! Guest guest
Poly ethylene glycol, it's a petroleum product and converts to oxalate. These just have parabens (lol at " just " ~ they are cancer-causing I think) Toni, what's PEG? > Each CARNITOR® (levocarnitine) Tablet contains 330 mg of levocarnitine and > the inactive ingredients magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and > povidone. > > Each 118 mL container of CARNITOR® (levocarnitine) Oral Solution contains 1 > g of levocarnitine/10 mL. Guest guest
OK, thanks, I didn't know what the abbreviation stood for... I think I might have a sensitivity to parabens...they do something really funky to me...when I come into contact with something that has paraben in it, I get this funky weird feeling/taste in my mouth and the surface layer of my tongue gets numb. And then I start to feel really nauseous and the next few days I get a flu-like feeling with aches and stiff muscles and my tongue has that numb-ish feeling for a day or two afterwards. (And I'm not talking about having any oral contact with it). I especially hate it with sunscreen (there's something else in sunscreen -- not sure what -- but it bothers me and I never wear sunscreen -- always just hat and a thin long-ish sleeve shirt in the summer). I get that same numbing feeling in my mouth with that horrible taste even when there's sunscreen containing paraben on my back. I didn't even know they were cancer-causing (another reason to hate parabens) -- I just really hated what it does to me.
