I guess I feel like my sexuality is an integral part of who I am-not a "side effect" to a bigger problem. It IS the problem....along with not being able to work, socialize, etc. Houghton Mifflin defines diability as:

A disadvantage or deficiency, especially a physical or mental impairment that interferes with or prevents normal achievement in a particular area.

And in my opinion vulvar pain prevents normal achievement in relationships, work, school, AND sexuality.
