Guest guest
I have a sick granddaughter today--she has been throwing up since this morning and has a headache. It looks like stomach virus but she hasn't been anywhere to catch anything. I hope and pray this isn't something contagious. is 14. She is so miserable. Our cooler weather agrees with me! I am feeling so much better. I was able to go out to take care of the poultry this morning. I went to the garden yesterday and picked some tomatoes, peppers, beans and squash. With fall the garden is slowly dying. I feel sad because I wasn't able to go out and work in the garden this summer. I made a big pot of soup for dinner last night for dinner. I have been doing genealogy every day. It is so addictive! I've even been dreaming about genealogy:)I have a new book to start. It's the follow up to a book I read recently by called "When The Wind Blows". This new one is called "The Lake House". Has anyone read either of those books?I don't have anything exciting to tell you all about. No psycho roomie stories from here! lol I'm just old boring me...hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Sharon, I hope your is feeling better by now!!! And that it wasn't contagious............ I'm sorry you weren't able to work in the garden this past summer. I can relate, because that's how I feel about the fall. I loveee to work outside in the fall, with the crisp, cool arm, I just love the leaves falling and the smell of it all. There is so much I would like to be doing, we have almost 30 acres, a huge yard, lots of flower beds and things like that. I can't seem to do any of it And yet at the same time, I don't even WANT to, I have no desire to do so If I remember correctly, I have read the Lake House, I hope you enjoy it. I think it was a good one. I read so much, that I have been known to buy a book I have already read because I have forgotten it lol....... Jen update (from Sharon) I have a sick granddaughter today--she has been throwing up since this morning and has a headache. It looks like stomach virus but she hasn't been anywhere to catch anything. Guest guest
Jen (and all) is all better. She apparently had food poisoning from something. She suddenly woke up about 5:30 in the evening ready to eat sometime! She said she was starving:) 30 acres must be nice. Do you have livestock? We used to have 20 acres, then moved to 40 acres (in Alaska) and now are back to 4 acres. We used to have goats, a milk cow, llamas and poultry. Now all I have is chickens, ducks and turkeys. I miss my goats but I don't miss the work. I just don't think I could do the milking anymore. I live in the mountains in northeastern Arizona. We are off-grid and get our power from solar panels and a wind generator. I just want to feel good again so I can do stuff outside. I like to go out to take care of the chickens and ducks but I haven't felt up to it lately. Soon it will be icy and I won't be able to go out. Winter is so darned long! lolI often pick up books at the thrift store only to discover I have already read it. I read a lot too. What is your favorite type of books? Who are your favorite authors? I really like Janet Evanovich's plum novels, Sue Grafton and J.A. Jance.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
