Guest guest
I am 34 years old. I was diagnosed with Squamous Hyperplasia about 1 year ago. My initial outbreak did subside with Clobetesol. About 6 months later I had another outbreak. My OBGYN put me back on Clobetesol. I then became pregnant. He switched me to Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.5% cream. I am now 5 months pregnant, so I have been on these creams now for at least 6 months. At my last visit, I told him that my condition is worsening. I asked him if I could be having rebound effects. He told me that I needed to go back on the Clobetesol, which I did not do. I don't like all of this medication, especially during a pregnancy. I have no fissures at this time, however I am RED, RED, RED. I am sore and in only one area get itchy. It seems I can subside the itch with a shower and Aveeno soap. Also, the redness has spread clear out onto my thighs. I think I am having rebound effects, but I am not sure exactly what " rebound effects " are. I have stopped the cream now for about three nights. My condition is the same, not worse. Should I see a Dermatologist? Help, please!!!!! Thank you in advance!
