Thank you for asking, Sharon! The burn has healed completely, although there is still an area of the arm that has a darker reddish/brownish color, kind of. That may go away too with time, or it may not, but it will be there for some time. I burned my left hand as a kid, and I was around 30 before that scar became too light to be seen... Doesn't bother me too much, though. Scars only show you have lived... We spent yesterday at the zoo (the same one we took Pixie to this past summer, the tickets are valid for a year, so we thought we should use them properly...). It was a beautiful autumn day. Sunny and perfect temperature (in my book that's when you can wear long trousers, a shirt and a jacket without either freezing or sweating...). And I really love the surroundings of the zoo, beech forests and a terrain that's a lot more hilly (strange word...) than the area where we live (and hence a lot more like where I grew up). We fell in love with that area the first time our neighbor brought us there, and we have said that if we ever decide to move out into "the middle of nowhere", this is the particular "nowhere" we'd like it to be...I have uploaded some photos to the group site, in an album I named "zoo", you can find it here (you may have to copy and paste the URL): http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MSersLife/photos/album/1554864007/pic/listI think you'll see what I mean about the surroundings when you look at the photos...love/Reb>> It's time for an update from each of you. RebThe zoo is lovely! No wonder you fell in love with the area. Is the zoo really open like that with no cages or do the cages just not show in your beautiful photos?I'm glad your burn has healed so well. I like what you said "scars only show you have lived". Very true! How is Pixie doing these days? love SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
