Guest guest
I'm still taking 50mg Elavil and 75 Effexor. I don't really know if I still need the elavil for vpain, but it works for my chronic tension headaches so I've kept it on board. (I had headaches and depression way before vv, and I don't have a lot of hope of ever being med-free on that front.) I'm not doing pt right now. Last I saw my pt she really wanted me to work on strengthening surrounding muscle groups--hips, belly, butt. So I am doing that now. I caved in an bought some sessions with a trainer at my gym. Like I said, I do worry about pain post sex, but not much I can do to address it when I am not having sex! I'd also like to address the cyclical flares, but I don't feel like it's urgent. As long as I know the discomfort is temporary, I tend to be OK with it. Lia > > Lia, > > I'm so glad to hear that overall you are doing well. Please do keep us updated. Guest guest
Lia,Thanks for the info about the meds. I have such a hard time with meds...that I'm trying to figure out what I should possibly try. I hope you continue to do well.
