Broward: Time 2 Eat--Group Feeding Therapy

Feeding Foundations is excited to offer a new program for children and families.

" Time 2 Eat " is a unique and successful approach to the treatment of children

with feeding issues. Run in a group setting, " Time 2 Eat " is facilitated by 2

licensed Speech Language Pathologists who specialize in the treatment of

children with feeding disorders.

Therapy structure incorporates the S.O.S approach to achieve the goal of helping

children experience and explore new foods and a variety of textures. Foods are

introduced to help promote sensory and oral-skill progression based on a

hierarchy. This approach helps sensory systems shift slowly into accepting new

foods.

This group is offered as a 6 week session, meeting 1x per week for 1.5 hours.

The next session begins in early September and will be held at Clinics for

Speech, Language and Communication @ Nova Southeastern University.
