Guest guest
nne and others, I have very little pain at this point, but I can narrow it down to two kinds. Deepmuscle/connective tissue pain, and just a little infrequent irritation at the spot where I had a biopsy in the vulvar area, where I formerly had a small patch of dermatitis. I think amitriptyline and PT help the deep pain (and self massage and shiatsu/accupuncture) but I am wondering if the more topical treatment would help that little place. I have read about the Capsacin (often used by patients of kellog spade?) and I would really like to know what the theory is about its use. I'm guessing this is for the visible, touchable tissue pain, numbing the over-active nerves in the " skin " ?? Question: Then I read your post, nne, and I am wondering what the mechanism is for the peri-cream. What does it do? is it supposed to have long term effectiveness if you use it over time, or is it short term relief and works only when it is on the spot? Another Question: Does anyone out there see and would you be able to ask her what the Capsascin is doing or affecting? If you reply, please include my best e-mail address juliezim@.... My address at yahoo is for this kind of public site, and it gets filled with unbelievable spam so I don't check there a lot. Thanks!!! McTwirly (one of the s at this site) Ps nne, glad you are sounding positive and hopefully making progress. I have thought about you and even worried about you, and hope you are better all the way around
