Asacol and ulcers

Has anyone ever developed ulcers from taking Asacol for their UC? Fred's

symptoms line up with having a peptic ulcer, and Asacol has been known

to cause ulcers. He's stopped taking it, and does not have the chronic

nausea anymore, but does have it every night when he goes to sleep, and

off and on throughout the night. He said the Prevacit helps somewhat,

but not a lot. He now has a stomach ache in the center of his abdomen.

But, he feels good enough to go try and walk up a mountain near us, so

that's what we're gonna do!
