Just wanted to let everyone know we welcomed our sweet baby boy Caleb

into the world on Wednesday Sept. 10th at 4:20 AM weighing 8 lbs.

7 oz. My labor was 11 hours start to finish...we got to the birth

center 9 centimeters dilated already! I got in the tub and labored for

two more hours, and my water broke at 4 AM. At that point, I got out of

the tub and he came in one big push! I did all natural birth and felt

so empowered to know I could do it. I did tear a bit because he came so

fast and had his elbows up. I am taking one day at a time, using lots

of emu oil and waiting for the stitches to heal before I resume much

else in the way of treatment. He is so sweet, I just sit and stare at

him like a TV show! Not much time between feedings except to pee and

eat something myself, but I will try to keep up with posts here and

there. Hope all are well!
