Tina K-- BV again

Tina K--Did you have shorter courses of Flagyl before you finally didthe longer one? I don't understand why this infection will go away fora few days, after vinegar bath or flagyl, and then come back. >> Late last night my post said everyother day and it was 1 tab everyday for a month. Its been a long time now that this bacterialinfection has been gone. Tina Kohlman >

Yes there is the first one of the week to 2 week course but remember you have to finish all the antibiotics so it will run the course. Just like an ear infection you have to finish as directed. Yes in 2-3 days its much better but you shouldn't stop. I do know something abouts meds. cause of my degree in medical Assitant. thanks tina k

Hi Tina--

I was wondering if you had taken shorter courses of Flagyl before you

had the longer course--like did you just take it for a week, then it

came back and you had to take it for a month? I couldn't understand

what you meant about that in your message.

My nurse will only Rx for one week, and when I asked her if I might

need a longer course she said that was highly unlikely.
