Guest guest
Do they smell or give you an odor?? Do they burn? -------------- Original message -------------- A nurse practicioner recommended tea tree oil suppositories (I found them at Whole Foods) for recurring BV; couldn't tell if they helped a lot or not but the BV hasn't come back since I tried them (not sure if it's an effect of the suppositories or just taking better care of myself in general). I think they also sell them online through Amazon.com. I used boric acid suppositories. They are supposed to work on BV and yeast. They didn't work on either for me. Guest guest
It's not natural, but Rephresh is marketed in Europe as a cure for BV. They could not get that labeling in the US. Basically, it works by acidfying your vagina so the bacteria cannot survive. Good luck! Guest guest
Someone had mentioned 1cup Proxide to 2cups water for a douch? is that right? Tina K. I used boric acid suppositories. They are supposed to work on BV and yeast. They didn't work on either for me. Guest guest
They smell a little like tea tree oil (but not in a really strong way), so a little herbally/ a little citrusy (?). The first one burned a little initially when I first put it in but that went away after an hour (may be different, depending on how sensitive you feel at the time, etc). It's prescribed as a treatment in Europe for BV, so it's worth a shot. Do they smell or give you an odor?? Guest guest
I thought I was the only one that they didn't work for. Did you buy them or make your own? I made my own. Guest guest
I purchased them at Whole Foods. Apparently they're quite popular as they were sold out a few times before I was able to get them. > I thought I was the only one that they didn't work for. Did you buy them or > make your own? Guest guest
My doctor told me to use boric acid twice a week for maintenance. I think I'll try Yeast Arrest this time.
