Guest guest
I am so sorry you had a miserable night and are in pain. I have areas that flare more than others. Not necessarily areas I have previously injured, but sometimes. I do notice I will have an area that hurts more than the others at times and takes more babying, so I can understand. It is ok to take care of you. Feel better sweetie. Hugs, ddean228 wrote: Okay, so I'm sleeping away this morning when around 2 am, my knees feel like they are being ripped from my body! I feel around for my pain med, pop one and wait. After 45 minutes, I opted to get out of bed as my moaning was keeping my DH awake (although he has probably laid in there awake ever since), came out to the living room and got the heating pad on my knees. That helped somewhat and I have been able to hobble walk for lack of a better word to the computer room so I could at least post and/or answer emails. I don't want to cry because I keep thinking " this too shall pass " and yet, at the same time, feel like cutting my knees off! Since being diagnosed, I've had a few of these episodes with the pain always being in my knees. I know that as a teen, I did a lot of " damage " to them with various sports activities (practiced falls for flag corps, that kind of thing) and am wondering if anyone else has noticed when they have an area of pain flare up that that is an area where they suffered some sort of injury/trauma? I recall that my knees were so bad one time, they were going to drain the fluid from them. Right now, they feel horribly inflamed, and yet I cannot think of anything I did in the past several days that would have brought this on! So I guess my silver lining is I'll have all my emails caught up by the time the family gets up and will be able to get the running I " have " to get done finished up early! After that, it's baby the knees time...... Darlene 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. 3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group-unsubscribe 4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor. 5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support. Have a nice day everyone.
