Guest guest
Debbie (J), I have that exhaustive fatigue too! What I am finding helps is my calendar (I bought one of those bigger ones, not the little one I used to love). I am not overscheduling my days any more. There are weeks unfortunately where there is something every day, but I am literally forcing myself to nap whenever possible so I have the energy to do whatever that thing is. The housework? Well, it takes me all week. So what? If someone comes over and doesn't like it, they can shut up, pick up a broom and start working. I do what I can. I have books next to my recliner and may only read a few pages, but I do try to do that. I also crochet and always have something going (keeping a log this year to catalog my finished projects). Anyhow, I said all that to say this - you have GOT to take time for yourself. Those chores will get done. You will help you a lot better if you sit for 15-30 minutes and read or do whatever to calm yourself. I have invested in a crockpot. Most of our meals now come from it. My body won't let me spend hours in the kitchen any more so I am learning to adapt. So far, no one is complaining about the meals and in fact, coming back for seconds! And have you checked with your doctor about a handicapped placard? You get " rock star " parking! ((((Hugs to you)))) Darlene > > > > Maybe tired isn't the right word for me.
