I used to have that problem all the time. I take pills three times a day and I

would never remember if I had taken the middle ones. I finally bought one of

those pill containers that is about the size of a regular book. It has smaller

containers for each day of the week that slide in and out. The container that

slides out for that day has four places that snap open and closed. I have to

fill the whole set once a week and then use one a day. I did finally buy two of

them so I could fill it for two weeks at a time. I never wonder if I've

forgotten because the space for that time of day is empty if I took the pills in

it or full if I didn't - duh. It's also nice to take with me when I go out

because I can just take the container for that day with me or if spending the

night can take those few containers and don't have to bother with pill bottles

and such.

With the flonase, my eye drops and my inhaler I do what you just said. When I

use them I put them in the cabinet and when I go to bed at night and take my

pills I put them on the counter for the morning.

Otherwise I would be either skipping or overtaking my meds all the time.

There's absolutely no way I can just remember.

Good idea!

I saw something on tv about an invention aimed mostly for the elderly

but would work for us too. It's this little matt thing that holds your

meds, and when you pick the bottle up, that registers on a little

computer so you can track what you took. But I guess that may not work

if you pick a bottle up to read the label but didn't take it.

Sometimes in the morning I'll pull all the pill bottles down to the

counter, then after I take what I need I put the bottle back up in the

cabinet.

morning,I turn it back over.
